Dearest reader, please bear with me as I hijack the KTB Choir blog from our usual author, Sue, as she went MIA from last night’s rehearsal… Something about a sewing course being more important than her fellow altos…. So, you’ve been placed into my hands. Buckle up, let’s have some fun!

As this rehearsal is our last before our ‘Best of British’ concert, we decided to pick through our weakest songs and flush out any tricky bits that were causing some pre-show nerves.

We began by finishing off three songs from our last rehearsal that we didn’t have time to sing through and then embarked on a “shout out when Katy mentions a song you’re panicking about!”. It was incredibly reassuring when a song you felt worried about had an echo of “ooo yes this one is tricky” reverberating around the room. However, I can quite confidently say, by the end of the rehearsal there were no songs left on the list that were giving me cold sweats!!

I cannot wait for Friday! Let’s go out there, sing our hearts out and raise some money for a very worthy cause.
