At KTB Music we like to put on a few social events throughout the year for both our members and the wider public. From theatre trips to maggot races, we do it all. Monday night was the turn of our much-loved Ceilidh!
Our caller led us through each dance as the band played tune after jolly tune. I think we were rather thankful for her quick disclaimer before each dance that revealed how energetic each one was to be "this one has a good few gallops"...
Rachael from Pickle & Pudding put on a fantastic buffet for everyone, the sausage rolls were a particular crowd pleaser. The tea break was both a gastronomic treat and a respiratory blessing, I think most of us needed a sit-down after all that twirling! After our interval, it was back to arches, skipping and the occasional boing! (If you know, you know...)
