We're back!! After a lovely bank holiday Monday, the KTB Voice are back rehearsing for their ever looming July concert. A new month meant new music, so we now have all tunes for our Heart Beat Concert.
Our new songs, Circles of Motion, In My Life, Put a Little Love in Your Heart and For the beauty of the earth are the perfect few to round off our set list. Our focus is songs about the heart, love and laughter, a perfect theme to reflect the incredibly important work our charity of choice Heartbeat NWCC does.
After singing through our new additions we gave Life Has Loveliness a blast as we'd focused heavily on it in previous rehearsals. You'll be glad to know dear reader, we nailed 90% of it! A few more Monday's and we'll be ready.
Dolly Parton was next, with Light of a Clear Blue Morning, my personal favourite... Quick lyrics, fun runs, all written by a country legend, what more could you want? 'Hope' is the thing with feathers was our conclusion to the evening, and what a lovely one to go out with.
As we were packing away, Katy informed us that we're to have a violinist perform with us, what a treat! Speaking of our concert, tickets are now available, we'd love to see you there.
