To play music with a group of like-minded musicians, is a unique experience which is hard to put into words. The comradery in the band is very important and becomes stronger once playing together. One of the main things that I enjoy about band is the small conversation between songs; something interesting that day, a new milestone in life or a funny joke. Playing music together is the medium that we use to bring us all together and be social. The music that we play is appealing to all ages, as we play modern songs such as Shallow by Lady Gaga, to older songs such as Mack the Knife, including classics like Superstition and Sweet Caroline. The music also ranges in difficulty, with (slightly above) beginner friendly to (medium) intermediate. If you’ve done grades, I suggest anybody above grade 3 will be perfectly comfortable.
