It was an evening jam packed full of music and children this evening for our big group rehearsal before the Longton Winter Wonderland next Sunday. In all 40 children attended, a collective formed from KTB Music students and members from 2 local school choirs. The evening started with warming up our voices and coming together in a quick fire round of ‘dum dum dadadas’ before running through our exciting programme. Kate and Tom lead us through all the songs in preparation for Sunday’s performance. As we were singing ‘Winter Wonderland’, the Longton Committee chair person turned up for a sneak peak. She asked if we’d be able to sing it through again for her and we were excited to show her what we could do. We finished the session with the 12 venues of Christmas.
